ABOUT US

Building the ranking intelligence layer for the internet.

Sequen provides an integrated platform that pairs bleeding-edge frontier ranking models with the infrastructure to run them in production at sub-25ms latency and enterprise scale. The world's largest retailers, marketplaces, and travel platforms use Sequen to rank, recommend, and personalize, with an autonomous research engine that compounds model performance into revenue and margin lift measured in hundreds of millions of dollars per customer.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Identify, launch, and manage relationships with Global System Integrators relevant to Sequen — including Accenture, Deloitte, Bain, BCG, Slalom, and IBM. Own the full partner lifecycle: sourcing and prioritizing GSIs, structuring agreements, launching joint motions, and managing the relationship to measurable pipeline and revenue. Build joint go-to-market and delivery plans — co-selling, joint solutions, practice development, and co-marketing — that drive sourced and influenced revenue. Develop deep relationships across GSI organizations, from practice leads and delivery teams to partner and executive sponsors. Partner with Sequen's sales, product, and forward deployed engineering teams to activate GSI partnerships in the field and enable partners to sell and deliver Sequen. Track, report, and optimize partner performance against pipeline and revenue targets. Help shape Sequen's GSI partner strategy and playbook — this function is still being built, and you'll hold the pen.

ABOUT YOU

5+ years working in partnerships, having partnered with at least one of Accenture, Deloitte, Bain, BCG, Slalom, or IBM on behalf of a SaaS or AI startup (both mandatory). Know how to build a partnership from scratch — sourcing, launching, and scaling it to real pipeline and revenue. Commercially minded and comfortable owning and reporting against partner-sourced and influenced revenue targets. Build strong relationships across complex GSI organizations and orchestrate the internal teams needed to activate them. Comfortable with ambiguity and building process, playbooks, and structure where none exists. Thrive in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environments and have ideally worked at an early-stage or hypergrowth company. Bachelor's degree or comparable experience.

Strong Candidates May Also

Have partnered with WPP, Publicis, or Tata — a plus. Have partnered on behalf of a technical product — infrastructure, ML/AI, or data platforms. Have built GSI practices or delivery partnerships around a specific technology. Have built partner ecosystems in retail, e-commerce, marketplaces, media and entertainment, or travel verticals. Bring an existing network across the major GSI partner and practice organizations.

What We Offer

High-impact role owning a core growth and delivery channel for a hypergrowth AI company. The opportunity to build a GSI ecosystem around category-defining technology. Direct partnership with the GTM leadership and founding team. Very competitive base + bonus/commission + meaningful equity.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
