Job Description
Director, Partner Engagement
We're looking for a strategic leader to shape how ServiceNow shows up for partners on stage, on screen, and through our highest-impact moments. This role will define the content, creative, and engagement strategy for our most critical partner-facing moments, from flagship in-person events to always-on digital experiences and webinars. You'll bring together storytelling, creative vision, and event programming to scale our impact using AI, partner insights, and cross-functional alignment to help our team build an experience center of excellence. This is a key role for someone who sees events not just as moments, but as an engine for influence, activation, and community.
Key Responsibilities Event & Webinar Content Strategy
• Lead the development of Partner content narratives across GPES, Partner Kickoff, Knowledge, Partner Forums, Quarterly Partner Briefings, and other key initiatives.
• Build a scalable, insight-driven global webinar and virtual event content strategy, extending the reach of in-person events and supporting always-on partner engagement.
• Translate strategic priorities (AI GTM, CRM, WDF, Industry) into partner-centric content that drives clarity and action.
• Support campaign prioritization across teams to ensure message consistency and alignment to business outcomes. Storytelling & Executive Messaging
• Infuse storytelling and strategic clarity into decks, videos, executive sessions, and webinars, from idea to execution.
• Collaborate with executive comms, product/partner marketing, and field teams to align narratives across formats and regions.
• Translate complex or technical topics into compelling partner-facing stories that highlight innovation and value. AI-Driven Scale & Experience Center of Excellence
• Use GenAI and content ops tools to streamline production, scale content creation, and personalize messaging by region or audience.
• Develop repeatable playbooks and speaker prep processes to improve quality and reduce friction across events and webinars.
• Introduce new formats (fireside chats, AI demos, regional panels) and technologies that elevate the partner experience. Creative Ownership & Agency Oversight
• Own the creative vision for partner-facing events and broadcasts, from keynote visuals and videos to session design and presentation templates.
• Guide and collaborate with internal teams and agencies (creative, video, design) to deliver high-impact partner-facing content.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver high-impact, brand-aligned creative assets that support storytelling at scale.
• Leverage creative agencies to scale production, managing timelines, briefing materials, feedback loops, and quality standards.
• Ensure every event and webinar has a cohesive visual identity and elevates the partner experience. Measurement & Optimization
• Define content and creative success metrics across digital and in-person events, tracking engagement, feedback, and performance.
• Use data and partner insights to optimize messaging, creative approach, and content mix.
• Establish scalable feedback loops and regional adaptations to ensure global resonance.
Qualifications

• Strong background in planning high-impact in-person and virtual events with executive speakers and partner-facing narratives.
• Familiarity with GenAI and content tech to scale storytelling, personalize experiences, and streamline delivery.
• Cross-functional leadership experience, including managing agencies or working across large stakeholder groups.
• Executive presence and storytelling acumen, you know how to turn ideas into compelling narratives.
• Clear understanding of where event messaging ends and self-service content begins

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.
Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech
- Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
- Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
- Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
- Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)

- Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
