This is a full time, remote Summer Internship that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.
Calix is looking for a Summer intern to join our Partner team. In this role, you will be part of a unique and award-winning internship program within the company. The program provides the opportunity to learn new skills through training and on the job learning.
We are looking for an aspiring Business, Marketing, Business Analytics or MBA student who is passionate about sales, marketing and partnering to join us this Summer. This position will be supporting each of our partner segment teams including Value Added Resellers, Consulting Engineers, Go-to-Market Agency Partners, Broadband focused ISVs and Strategic Alliances. The Partner Enablement Intern will lead their own project, working cross-functionally across Calix Education, Product, and Success teams to develop new training materials including video-based training, interactive test development in Articulate and development of promotional materials to launch the training to our partner community. The role will also include activities centered on providing foundational partner training and Calix Community Group development to support the growth of the Calix Partner Program.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work with the Calix Partner Team to understand the Calix partner ecosystem.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new partner training courses, partner focused material and learning pathways on the Partner Academy platform.
  • Lead the development of a new partner curriculum, including needs analysis, training creation, and promotion to Calix Partners.
  • Attend meetings and interact with Partner Managers as required.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or Business Analytics
  • Strong computer skills (must be highly proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Time management with the ability to prioritize and organize work
  • Enjoy new challenges and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Educational development experience
  • Video editing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Takes initiative
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and collaboration skills.
  • Confidence to communicate and work with the team and partners as needed.
  • Ability to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September).

Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education.

There are different ranges applied to specific locations. The average base pay range (or OTE range for sales) in the U.S. for the position is listed below.

San Francisco Bay Area Only:

21.85 - 28.75 USD Hourly

National Major Cities plus, CA, CO, NY Metro area:

19.00 - 25.00 USD Hourly

Regional plus NY:

17.10 - 22.50 USD Hourly
