Ellevation is redefining how we empower the districts and educators we serve. As our complete ELD solution expands, so does the need for intentional, high-quality education that helps partners adopt, implement, and realize value from our products. The Partner Education Specialist is the foundation of that work.

This role sits within Partner Education and Digital Success in the Marketing organization and reports directly to the Manager of Partner Education. You will deliver prepared learning experiences, build your facilitation and instructional design skills, and contribute to a team whose work directly shapes how districts succeed with Ellevation.

This role is a strong fit for someone with a K–12 education background who is ready to apply that expertise in a new context — one where your knowledge of ELD programs and educator needs translates directly into partner outcomes.

Strong preferences for individuals within the following time zones: Central Time, Mountain Time, or Pacific Time.

About You:

You are a confident educator and facilitator who thrives when helping others build confidence and competence with new tools and workflows. You are dependable, curious, and committed to continuous improvement. You take ownership of your sessions, follow through on commitments, and actively seek feedback to get better.

You are energized by working in a collaborative team environment, supporting cross-functional partners, and contributing ideas that make the team’s work stronger. You don’t need to have all the answers — you know when to ask for guidance and when to work through something independently.

Key Responsibilities:

    Facilitate Partner Learning Experiences

  • Deliver prepared educational content clearly and confidently using established materials, agendas, and facilitation frameworks.

  • Demonstrate strong facilitation fundamentals and manage standard partner sessions effectively across live and online formats.

  • Build fluency facilitating core Ellevation product workflows and respond appropriately to partner questions.

  • Manage challenging facilitation moments with professionalism and partner focus.

  • Incorporate feedback and coaching to continuously improve facilitation skills.

  • Contribute to Learning Design and Content

  • Apply established company templates and standards to build and maintain training materials.

  • Develop clear, accurate content for core product workflows under guidance from senior team members.

  • Contribute to self-paced and synchronous learning assets using approved tools and formats.

  • Incorporate partner feedback and internal coaching to improve the quality of learning materials.

  • Execute Against Education Plans

  • Own assigned training tasks and sessions, delivering consistently high-quality work on time.

  • Meet expectations for timeliness, accuracy, and partner satisfaction.

  • Understand how assigned work connects to broader partner adoption goals and team priorities.

  • Build awareness of how education strategy supports retention, renewal, and partner success.

  • Support Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate effectively within Partner Education and support cross-functional work as directed.

  • Communicate clearly, share updates proactively, and follow through on commitments.

  • Gather session observations and share ideas to help improve team processes and learning experiences.

  • Contribute partner feedback and qualitative insights that connect to adoption and satisfaction metrics.

  • Develop Product and Technical Knowledge

  • Build and maintain strong working knowledge of Ellevation’s complete ELD solution.

  • Facilitate foundational use cases accurately and confidently.

  • Stay current on product releases through team learning and internal resources.

  • Flag gaps in partner understanding and escalate complex technical questions appropriately.

Impact:

1 month: Build a clear picture of Ellevation’s partner education model and how your role contributes to partner success. Complete onboarding, shadow live sessions across the team, and begin developing product knowledge. Establish rapport with your manager, teammates, and key cross-functional partners in Digital Success and Customer Success.

3 months: Begin co-facilitating partner sessions with support, applying team templates and facilitation standards. Develop a working understanding of partner portfolios and the regional learning needs. Incorporate feedback from coaching conversations and demonstrate consistent follow-through on all assigned tasks and commitments.

6 months: Independently facilitate your assigned partner sessions with confidence and professionalism. Manage standard facilitation challenges without escalation and contribute to content improvements based on what you’re seeing in the field. Begin proactively sharing partner insights and patterns with the broader team.

1 year: Operate as a trusted, self-directed contributor to the team’s education programs. Demonstrate strong and consistent partner satisfaction across your portfolio. Bring a clear point of view on your partners’ needs and use that knowledge to inform education strategy, content development, and team planning.

Qualifications:

    Required

  • Experience in K–12 education (e.g., teaching, coaching, or instructional support) with a strong understanding of English Learner programs and instructional practices.

  • Proven ability to facilitate effective adult learning experiences, both live and online, in-person and virtual.

  • Excellent communication skills — able to engage diverse educator audiences and represent Ellevation professionally.

  • Comfort with digital learning tools (e.g., LMS platforms, webinar tools, content creation tools).

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple sessions and tasks concurrently.

  • Solution-oriented mindset with comfort working through ambiguity.

  • Ability to travel approximately 50% for in-person partner training and internal team gatherings, with higher travel during peak seasons.

  • Preferred

  • Familiarity with Ellevation’s ELD solution or comparable edtech platforms.

  • Experience in edtech, SaaS, or a partner-facing education or training role.

  • Background in instructional design or curriculum development grounded in adult learning principles.

  • Comfort using data and partner feedback to reflect on and improve session quality.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
