Job Title: Partner, Business Development
Classification: Exempt (Salaried)
Reports to: VP, Business Development
Role Summary:
The Partner, Business Development is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and building inKind relationships with partner and potential partner locations, in conjunction with current Sales team goals and objectives. The Partner, Business Development will focus on capital deployment and credit sales, as well as ensure deals are pacing in line with Company objectives and maintaining an awareness of current market trends while representing inKind at relevant industry events. The Partner, Business Development is expected to work closely with relevant internal and external stakeholders, and ensure business business activities comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Capital Deployment:
- Analyze and identify potential restaurant partners for credit purchasing based on criteria such as location, popularity, and financial stability.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with restaurant partners for purchasing credit.
- Manage the deployment of capital to purchase credits from restaurant partners.
- Continuously monitor and assess the performance of the deployed capital.
- Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to manage capital and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Credit Sales:
- Oversee the sales of purchased restaurant credits to customers.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize credit sales.
- Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote credit sales.
- Address any customer issues related to credit sales.
- Deal Pacing:
- Ensure that the pace of deal-making aligns with company goals and market conditions.
- Track and analyze deal pacing data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Develop strategies to optimize deal pacing.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient execution with restaurant partners.
- Generate regular reports on deal pacing for senior management.
- Market Management:
- Monitor trends and developments in the assigned market.
- Develop and implement strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the assigned market.
- Represent inKind Cards Inc. at industry events and meetings within the assigned market.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other teams (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Customer Service) to ensure a unified approach to achieving company objectives.
- Communicate regularly with other teams to understand their needs and challenges and to provide support where needed.
- Collaborate on cross-departmental projects and initiatives.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all business activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify potential risks associated with the purchasing and sales of restaurant credits and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Regularly review and update the company's risk management strategies in response to changes in the business environment.

Salary:
- $115,000 - $130,000 plus a competitive commission structure
