You are an energetic, curious, and relationship-minded sales development or partnerships professional who excels at sourcing high-quality leads and opening doors. You bring strong outbound prospecting skills, clear communication, and a structured, detail-oriented approach to building top-of-funnel activity.

As a Partner Acquisition Specialist, you will identify, engage, and qualify new partnership prospects across brokers, accountants, HR consultants, private equity/venture capital, technology partners, and strategic alliances. You will work closely with the Partner Acquisition Team Lead and broader Partnerships team to ensure a strong, high-quality pipeline of potential partners.

Your Success ProfileWhat You Will Work On
  • Source and identify new partnership prospects across key segments: brokers, accountants, HR consultants, PE/VC groups, technology partners, and alliances.
  • Conduct market research to identify partner targets that align with Justworks’ partnership strategy and value proposition.
  • Execute outbound prospecting workflows including email, phone, social outreach, and multi-touch campaigns.
  • Qualify partner prospects by understanding their business model, customer base, and alignment with Justworks’ offerings.
  • Engage prospective partners through compelling messaging that communicates partnership value and integration potential.
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking, prospect notes, and qualification data within Salesforce and associated tools.
  • Schedule introductory meetings between qualified partners and Partner Managers or the Partnerships Leadership team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on outbound campaigns, partner-facing materials, and messaging refinement.
  • Support continuous improvement of sourcing lists, outreach tactics, and partner qualification frameworks.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the team on market trends, partner objections, and segment-specific patterns.
  • Represent Justworks professionally in early partner interactions.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
  • 1–3+ years of experience in Sales Development, Outbound SDR/SDO roles, Business Development, or Partner/Channel sourcing.
  • Strong outbound prospecting experience generating leads or early-stage partnership opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor outreach across segments.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prospects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience working within Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships teams.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS or technology environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience sourcing or supporting partnerships with brokers, accountants, HR consultants, or technology partners.
  • Familiarity with sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft, Apollo).
  • Basic understanding of co-selling workflows or partner qualification models.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, HR tech, benefits, or financial services ecosystems.

This position is paid a base wage plus incentive compensation. The base wage range for this position is targeted at $74,000 - $90,000 in our New York City office, and competitive On-Target Earnings, inclusive of incentive compensation, of $113,000 - $138,000. Final offers may vary from those listed. *Incentive compensation is not guaranteed, and earning is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive compensation plan.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.  Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
