What You Will Be Doing

As a Partner Account Manager for EV Charging Sales, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with reseller partners to drive sales, market penetration, and overall business growth. Your primary focus will be on identifying, onboarding, and managing reseller partners, enabling them to effectively promote and distribute our EV charging products and solutions.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • Partner Development: Identify and evaluate potential reseller partners who align with our business goals and values. Develop a deep understanding of their capabilities and market reach to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership
  • Onboarding and Training: Collaborate with reseller partners to facilitate a smooth onboarding process. Provide comprehensive training on our EV charging solutions, product features, benefits, and sales techniques to enable partners to effectively present and position our offerings
  • Relationship Management: Foster strong and lasting relationships with reseller partners by acting as the primary point of contact. Address partner inquiries, concerns, and needs in a timely manner. Proactively engage partners to explore new business opportunities and maintain high partner satisfaction
  • Sales Enablement: Empower reseller partners to effectively sell our EV charging solutions. Provide them with the necessary sales tools, marketing collateral, and technical resources. Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to ensure partners have up-to-date materials and support
  • Performance Tracking: Set clear performance objectives and sales targets for reseller partners. Monitor partner sales performance, track progress against targets, and provide regular performance updates to internal stakeholders. Collaborate with partners to develop strategies for overcoming challenges and achieving goals
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments. Use this knowledge to identify new market segments, potential partners, and areas for growth
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and technical support, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of efforts. Share partner feedback and insights to drive product improvements and enhance the overall partner experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 8+ year of channel management experience
  • Proven experience in partner management, business development, or sales roles within the EV charging or related industries
  • Strong understanding of electric vehicle charging solutions, technology, and market dynamics
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence effectively, both internally and externally
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft Office suite

Location

Remote (Must be based in SouthEast)

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $58,500 to $160,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
