Part-Time Graphic Designer - Production

Do you love figuring out the most efficient ways to complete a project? If so, ChowNow is seeking a part time Production Designer to help the design team prepare assets in order to launch restaurants with their new online ordering system.
About the Position:
At ChowNow, we believe that a restaurant’s brand should be at the forefront and we are dedicated to helping them compete in a technologically demanding world. Restaurant logos come to us in a variety of shapes, sizes and types. Your responsibility is to evaluate and make sure the logos meet requirements for launch. If they aren’t, you will be required to estimate the time that it will take you to help them meet those standards and execute, whether that be by recreating, tracing, rebuilding or redesigning them so that they are ready for printing and publishing.
This is an on-site position with a possibility to work remotely and will start at 20 hours a week.
How you’ll stand out as a candidate:
- Your portfolio shows solid examples of a variety of digital assets
- You have expert knowledge Adobe Illustrator
- You have experience preparing files for print production
- You are self motivated and love working independently
- You have a proven track record of handling a high-volume projects
- You are incredibly organized and work well with deadlines
- You are great at estimating how long a project will take you and know how to provide accurate completion timelines
- You can communicate in a clear, concise and effective manner
- Experience with Dropbox and Salesforce is a plus
Within 30 days you’ll:
- Complete our ChowNow onboarding (Ramp Camp)
- Learn the ins and outs about ChowNow and our product
- Shadow the Restaurant Success for an in depth look into how your role affects the team
- Complete training with our design team to learn how to access and use all internal tools, including Salesforce, Dropbox, ChowNow Dashboard, Slack, Google Apps
- Become an expert at identifying why a logo might be ineligible for launch
- Create, edit and revise client logos so it meets the standards for launching with ChowNow
Within 60 days you’ll:
- Time manage your own workflow and be able to communicate it to the team
- Know how to identify and manage your workload through Salesforce
- Consistently complete 10 logo rebuilds per day
Within 90 days you’ll:
- Know how to independently identify and manage your workload through Salesforce
- Become the point person for logo rebuilds
- Consistently complete 15 logo rebuilds per day
