Are you a strategic and creative design leader who thrives in fast-moving environments? We’re looking for a Part-Time Art Director / Producer to join our marketing team on a contract basis while our current creative lead is on maternity leave. 

In this role, you’ll provide creative direction, project management, and team leadership—guiding day-to-day operations and ensuring high-quality, on-brand design execution across a range of deliverables. 

Here’s a Taste of What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and support two UK based, full-time in-house designers  
  • Manage creative project flow in Asana—triaging, assigning, and tracking tasks 
  • Host twice-weekly design review meetings (Tuesdays & Fridays via Slack/video) 
  • Provide strategic feedback to elevate design output and maintain brand consistency 
  • Collaborate on social-first, platform-native creative ideas with the Sr. Manager of Creative Content Strategy 
  • Coordinate with Superside, our external design vendor, for overflow work 

Estimated Weekly Breakdown 

  • Team communication & reviews: 3–4 hrs 
  • Project & task management: 4–5 hrs 
  • Design feedback & approvals: 3–4 hrs 
  • Strategic brainstorming & creative development: 2–3 hrs 
  • Superside coordination: 2–3 hrs 

You Bring:

  • Proven experience in art direction, creative production, or design leadership (Figma, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite) 
  • Excellent creative judgment and the ability to give actionable feedback 
  • Comfort with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Asana) 
  • Ability to lead without micromanaging, working effectively across time zones 
  • Bonus: Experience working with external vendors like Superside 

 

Contract Details 

  • Duration: August–November 2025 
  • Commitment: ~20 hours/week 
  • Pay: $90–$125/hr (commensurate with experience) 
  • Classification: 1099 Contractor
