Job Description

As Paralegal, you will provide critical legal support to Belkin's legal department, assisting with a wide range of corporate, commercial, and compliance matters. This role will help manage legal documentation, conduct research, and support the legal team in protecting Belkin's interests while enabling business growth in the consumer electronics industry.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Contract Management: Draft, review, and maintain various commercial agreements including NDAs, vendor agreements, and licensing agreements
• Corporate Governance: Assist with maintaining corporate records, preparing board materials, and supporting corporate compliance initiatives
• Intellectual Property: Help manage Belkin's IP portfolio including trademarks, patents, and copyrights; assist with IP filings and maintenance; assist with brand protection activities.
• Regulatory Compliance: Support compliance with relevant regulations in the consumer electronics industry
• Legal Research: Conduct legal research on various issues affecting the company's operations and products
• Litigation Support: Assist with document collection, review, and production for litigation and disputes
• Due Diligence: Support due diligence activities for potential business transactions
• Records Management: Maintain organized legal files and documentation systems
• Administrative Support: Coordinate with outside counsel, manage legal department calendar, and handle other administrative tasks

Education and Experience Requirements: 

• At least 1 year of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in an in-house or commercial law environment
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• High proficiency in frequently used software programs (MS Office suite) and familiarity with simple database and file management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the technology or consumer electronics industry
• Knowledge of intellectual property management
• Familiarity with international business operations
• Understanding of corporate governance practices
• Experience with e-discovery and litigation support tools
• Knowledge of sustainability regulations and reporting

$20 - $38
