Manage and optimize high-budget paid search acquisition campaigns (Google Ads, Bing) to drive lead volume, quality, revenue, and margin. Analyze performance, run structured experiments, scale successful tactics, collaborate across teams to improve the acquisition funnel, and continuously refine strategies for North American clients.
The summary above was generated by AI

We are a global leader in Lead generation and we power the growth of 200 clients across 15 countries in Europe & North America.

Dolead runs paid marketing campaigns faster, integrates customer data with confidence and generates sales-ready leads at a fixed cost per lead.

We’re looking for a Freelance Paid Search Manager to support the growth of our North American market.
This role is not about “running ads.”
It’s about owning performance: understanding what drives lead quality, scaling what works, and making fast decisions based on data.
You’ll manage a portfolio of acquisition campaigns, primarily across Search channels, with direct impact on revenue, margin, and client growth.
What you’ll do

  • Manage high-budget acquisition campaigns across Google Ads and Bing (core focus)

  • Own performance across your portfolio: lead volume, quality, revenue, and margin

  • Analyze campaign performance and identify where to improve efficiency and scale

  • Run structured experiments: keywords, bidding strategies, account structure, landing pages

  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and internal teams to improve the full acquisition funnel

  • Continuously challenge and refine existing strategies rather than just maintaining them

What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years of experience managing Paid Search campaigns (Google Ads, Bing)

  • Strong hands-on experience in lead generation / customer acquisition

  • Experience managing multiple accounts and significant monthly budgets

  • Strong analytical mindset: you’re comfortable making decisions from data

  • Familiarity with the North American market (clients, competition, expectations)

  • Ownership mindset: you move forward without waiting for perfect direction

  • Attention to detail and operational rigor

  • Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to have (not required):

  • Exposure to Paid Social channels (Meta, TikTok, etc.)

  • Experience testing cross-channel acquisition strategies

*Please provide your application (resume / LinkedIn profile / cover letter in English)*

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
