We are looking for a Paid Media Manager to join our growing media team. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to build and scale a paid media function within a fast-moving agency environment. You’ll own campaign execution, contribute to strategic direction, and bring new, creative ideas to how we approach media. You’ll work closely with strategy, creative, and account teams, and play a key role in driving performance for our healthcare and life sciences clients. This role is best suited for candidates working in eastern or central hours; those in mountain or pacific should be comfortable with occasional early morning meetings.

Responsibilties:

  • Own the end-to-end execution of paid media campaigns across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, Google, and emerging channels

  • Translate strategy into action by building, launching, and optimizing campaigns that drive measurable performance

  • Actively manage budgets, pacing, and allocations to maximize efficiency and impact

  • Contribute to media strategy by shaping channel mix, audience targeting, and campaign structure

  • Bring forward new ideas and opportunities, from testing emerging platforms to exploring innovative formats and partnerships

  • Collaborate closely with strategy, creative, and account teams to ensure media plans are integrated and aligned with broader goals

  • Communicate performance, insights, and recommendations clearly to both internal teams and clients; sharing data-informed optimizations.

  • Participate in client conversations and presentations as a trusted media partner

  • Stay current on platform updates, industry trends, and new opportunities to evolve our media approach

  • Help lay the foundation for a scalable paid media function, with opportunities to grow into team leadership over time

Requirements:

  • 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, and Google

  • Experience in healthcare, pharma, life sciences, or other regulated industries a plus

  • Strong executional skills with the ability to build, launch, and optimize campaigns independently

  • Experience managing budgets, pacing, and media spend with a focus on performance and efficiency

  • Ability to think strategically and creatively about using media for clients

  • Comfortable communicating with clients, including explaining performance and making recommendations

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across teams

  • Interest in growing into a more senior role over time, including contributing to team development and scaling media capabilities

  • Experience with DSPs is a plus

Not an agency*

The layer-laden teams. The prehistoric processes. The impersonal, ego-driven dog-and-pony shows. Take what you think you know about agencies and burn it. P10 was born of the idea that if something isn’t working—or could work better—change it. And that’s exactly what we did. We know that what we’re not makes us who we are. And we’re not just another agency. We are people driven by a palpable passion and purpose, felt by our clients from the very first conversation.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
