Stord is seeking a hands-on Demand Generation Manager to own paid channels, digital programs, and virtual events that directly drive pipeline across our go-to-market motion. This is not a strategy-only role—you’ll be actively in the platforms every day, running experiments, optimizing performance, and making real-time decisions that impact revenue.
You’ll also serve as a key partner to our field events team, helping execute both Stord-owned events and third-party trade shows to expand reach and generate high-quality demand.
If you’re energized by full-funnel marketing—from first click through to qualified opportunity—and you thrive in an environment where you own outcomes, this role is a strong fit.

What You’ll Own:

Paid Media & Digital Advertising

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads

  • Run paid social programs on LinkedIn, Meta, and X (Twitter), with a focus on pipeline impact over vanity metrics

  • Manage additional demand programs (content syndication, newsletters, podcasts, etc.) that expand Stord’s reach to priority audiences

  • Own budget allocation across channels, continuously shifting investment toward highest-performing programs

Webinars & Virtual Events

  • Lead end-to-end execution of webinars and virtual events, from topic ideation and speaker coordination to promotion, platform setup, and post-event follow-up

  • Partner with Content, Product Marketing, and Sales to build programs designed to convert engagement into qualified pipeline

Field Events Support

  • Collaborate closely with the Field Events team on Stord-owned events and third-party trade shows

  • Support logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site execution as needed

  • Ensure event investments are tied back to measurable pipeline outcomes

Reporting & Optimization

  • Own performance reporting across all paid and digital programs

  • Translate data into actionable insights that inform channel mix, messaging, and budget allocation

  • Partner with Marketing Ops to ensure clean attribution and accurate pipeline reporting

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on demand generation experience in a B2B environment

  • Deep, practical experience running campaigns in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager, and X Ads

  • End-to-end ownership of webinars and virtual events, from planning through post-event follow-up

  • Exposure to content syndication programs (e.g., TechTarget, Demand Science, Bombora, or similar)

  • Experience supporting field events or trade shows in a coordination or project management capacity

  • Strong analytical mindset—you’re fluent in dashboards and translate data into decisions

  • Bias for action: you prefer testing and iterating over waiting for perfection

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
