The Desire Company is seeking experienced BBQ and Grilling Experts to participate in paid brand projects with leading outdoor cooking and lifestyle brands. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in grilling and outdoor cooking to create impactful content that helps shoppers make confident purchase decisions.
Project Overview:

  • Filming Location: Varies by project (travel may be required)
  • Time on Set: Approximately 3–5 hours (half-day; subject to change)
  • Final Deliverables: 1 Product Recommendation Video per project
  • Pay: Starting at $1,500

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert insights related to grilling, BBQ techniques, and outdoor cooking.
  • Participate in a brief pre-production call to align on project goals and expectations.
  • Collaborate with our production crew during filming sessions.
  • Share product recommendations in an engaging and approachable way.

How It Works:

Once you express interest, we will pitch you to relevant brand and retail partners. If selected, we’ll coordinate a pre-production conversation before filming.

By joining our expert community, you’ll be considered on an ongoing basis for future paid projects that match your expertise, availability, and interests.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in BBQ, grilling, outdoor cooking, or related culinary fields.
  • Strong understanding of grills, smokers, tools, fuels, and outdoor cooking equipment within your area of expertise, and the ability to assess and communicate their value to consumers.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
  • Willingness to travel if required.
