About Us

At Prenuvo, we are on a mission to flip the paradigm from reactive “sick-care” to proactive health care. Our award-winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionizing radiation), and non-invasive (no contrast). Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience across our domestic and global clinics, have allowed us to lead the change against “we caught it too late again".

The PACS Program Administrator is both an experienced technical operator and program owner, responsible for ensuring that Prenuvo’s imaging systems directly support radiologist performance, diagnostic quality, and patient care delivery.

This role owns the operational integrity, optimization, and clinical alignment of PACS and associated imaging workflows across a distributed, multi-site environment. The PACS Administrator serves as the structured liaison between Radiology, Clinical Operations, and Clinical Engineering — ensuring that imaging systems are not only technically functional, but clinically optimized.

This position resides in the Product & Tech function, with dotted-line governance in the Clinical organization because PACS configuration, workflow design, and data integrity directly impact diagnostic accuracy, report turnaround time, patient safety, and radiologist efficiency.

Help reshape the world through proactive healthcare while working with cutting-edge technology and high performing teams with deep expertise - join us to make a difference in people’s lives!

What You’ll Do

  1. Clinical Workflow Ownership & Optimization
  • Serve as the primary PACS contact for radiologists and MRI technologists.
  • Configure and maintain worklists, hanging protocols, user roles, and image routing to optimize diagnostic workflows.
  • Translate radiologist workflow needs into actionable system configurations.
  • Continuously evaluate workflow performance and recommend enhancements that improve efficiency and quality.
  • Support onboarding of new radiologists, scanners, and imaging sites to ensure seamless clinical integration.
  1. Imaging System Operations & Reliability
  • Oversee day-to-day PACS functionality to ensure high availability and uninterrupted clinical operations.
  • Monitor system performance, storage capacity, and latency to proactively prevent disruption.
  • Troubleshoot PACS, viewer, modality, and integration issues, coordinating with Clinical Engineering and IT as needed.
  • Partner on system upgrades, integrations, and testing to ensure clinical readiness prior to deployment.
  1. Data Integrity & Image Governance
  • Remove duplicate studies and correct metadata discrepancies.
  • Merge prior Prenuvo exams and import outside imaging when requested.
  • Resolve patient alias discrepancies and incorrect registrations.
  • Edit manually registered entries when RIS integration fails.
  • Add and validate new imaging sequences as protocols evolve.
  • Audit image quality, data integrity, and workflow consistency across sites.
  1. Clinical Quality, Compliance & Risk Mitigation
  • Support HIPAA compliance and role-based access controls.
  • Maintain downtime workflows and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Conduct regular audits aligned with clinical quality and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, workflow logic, and escalation pathways.
  • Participate in validation testing of new imaging tools and workflow changes prior to clinical rollout.
  1. Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Act as the translator between radiologists and engineering teams.
  • Ensure clinical requirements are clearly defined before technical implementation.
  • Provide PACS performance updates and insights during clinical operations meetings.
  • Maintain structured communication pathways for issue escalation and resolution.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience as a PACS Administrator, Imaging Systems Analyst, or similar role
  • Direct experience supporting radiologists and advanced imaging workflows
  • Strong working knowledge of DICOM standards, image routing, and PACS architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering, IT, and product teams
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfort operating in a fast-growing, multi-site healthcare organization
  • Ownership mindset with strong accountability to clinical outcomes

Nice-to-have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Healthcare, or equivalent experience
  • HL7, FHIR, CIIP, PARCA, and/or vendor-specific PACS certifications preferred

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
