What You'll Do:
Munchkin's Packaging Engineer Internship Program is designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to a career in the consumer products industry. We are currently looking for our next all-star intern for Fall 2026. You will be working full-time hours and the position will last between 10-12 weeks.
How you will contribute:
  • Development of innovative retail packaging solutions, corrugated displays, & protective/supportive package inserts for a variety of consumer goods
  • Interpret and transform sketches into 2D dielines using current CAD software
  • Generate detailed package material specification sheets for cost estimation
  • Debug files prior to release to production & graphic teams
  • Assist in daily cutting, folding, and assembly of package dielines and preparation of package concepts for marketing and sales presentations

You will have:
  • Creative thinker with an enthusiastic "team player" attitude
  • Able to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strict attention to detail
  • Should possess a working knowledge of materials and processes used in package development, evaluation, and manufacturing
  • Experienced in developing 2D package dielines using current CAD software
  • Familiar with the operation of Kongsberg cutting tables
  • Familiar with 3-D modeling using Solidworks
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator
