The Role
We are seeking an experienced Outsourcing Program Manager to lead and transform our operational outsourcing strategy within the Risk organization. This strategic role combines vendor management expertise with operational excellence to drive quality, efficiency, cost optimization, and program scalability.
You Will
  • Design and implement comprehensive outsourcing strategies that improve quality, cost, redundancy, and flexibility
  • Develop offshore expansion programs to enhance operational capabilities
  • Create capacity planning frameworks to align with our goals
  • Promote cost optimization through strategic vendor negotiations and procurement partnerships
  • Lead end-to-end vendor relationship management, serving as the primary point of escalation
  • Conduct vendor performance reviews, tracking forecasts against actuals
  • Establish KPIs to ensure vendor performance aligns with our goals
  • Develop staffing augmentation programs in partnership with Compliance teams
  • Analyze existing outsourcing programs to identify improvement opportunities
  • Design and implement operational efficiency improvements across vendor partnerships
  • Create performance dashboards to track program success metrics
  • Coordinate cross-functional programs between vendors and internal team members

You Have
  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale outsourcing programs
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects
  • Metrics-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making
  • Exceptional project planning and organizational skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Expert at breaking down complex challenges into actionable solutions

Even Better
  • Experience in compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), or payments industry
  • Data visualization expertise using modern BI tools
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Experience with offshore vendor management
  • Background in risk management or financial services

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

$148,700 - $223,100 USD
Zone B:
$138,300 - $207,500 USD
Zone C:
$130,900 - $196,300 USD
