Harbor Chevrolet and Harbor Hyundai are established automotive dealerships committed to providing exceptional parts and service solutions to independent repair facilities, commercial fleets, and wholesale customers. We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to help grow our parts and service business throughout the local market. 

 

Position

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining existing customer relationships, and expanding our wholesale parts and fleet service operations. The ideal candidate will have automotive parts and/or service experience, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to generate new business. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and grow wholesale parts sales within the local automotive repair market. 

  • Identify and establish new business relationships with independent repair shops, body shops, and fleet accounts. 

  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and continued business growth. 

  • Promote Harbor Chevrolet and Harbor Hyundai parts and service programs to prospective customers. 

  • Increase dealership market penetration through proactive sales efforts and territory management. 

  • Assist customers with parts sourcing, pricing, and order fulfillment. 

  • Generate new fleet service and parts accounts for both Chevrolet and Hyundai brands. 

  • Utilize RepairLink, OEC, and other industry platforms to support wholesale parts sales efforts. 

  • Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities for growth. 

  • Coordinate with Parts and Service Departments to ensure excellent customer service and account support. 

  • Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance objectives. 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 2 years of automotive parts or service experience. 

  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and aftermarket/wholesale parts sales. 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage territory effectively. 

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer management tools. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Previous outside sales experience in automotive parts or service. 

  • Experience with RepairLink and OEC. 

  • Chevrolet and/or Hyundai dealership experience. 

  • Existing relationships with local independent repair facilities and fleet operators. 

  • Knowledge of wholesale automotive parts operations and fleet maintenance programs.
