An Outside Sales Executive is what we call a forward-thinking, incentive driven, sales powerhouse. They seek out new business through outside and inside sales efforts as well as maintain existing business relationships. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the Outside Sales Executive will focus on building and cultivating relationships.

Responsibilities:                                                                               

  • Build, maintain and manage account relationships through constant contact and advocacy 
  • Offer solutions and solve problems for client’s shipping needs 
  • Qualify new prospects via inside and outside sales effort 
  • Make sales presentations to prospective and existing customers 
  • Engage prospective clients at all levels 
  • Reach and exceed targeted revenue goals by closing new business and growing existing client business
  • Build interpersonal relationships with key internal stakeholders across the business

 

Requirements:                                                                                                       

  • 5+ years of direct sales and business development experience 
  • Transportation/logistics experience required 
  • A./B.S. degree from solid academic institution 
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing personality 
  • Aggressive and competitive nature 
  • Adaptability and flexibility 
  • Quick learner who is successful at multi-tasking 
  • Proven “take charge performer” who has both initiative and a strong bias for action 
  • Enjoys and thrives in fast paced, dynamic work environment 
  • Ability to work remotely 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent ability in personal interaction 
  • Proactively offers advice and solutions in solving Client's problems

Work environment/physical demands summary:

This job operates in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office with an open seating floor plan. The employee may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear.

$80,000.00 per year + Uncapped Commission
