Outpatient Neurologist

About this role:

As the first Outpatient Neurologist at Alta View Clinic, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will be the first neurologist at in the facility, but part of Intermountain's integrated neuroscience program along the Wasatch Front, including in-person and tele-neurohospitalists, neuro critical care physicians, outpatient neurologists, neuro and spine PM&R physicians, neuro-psychologists and psychiatrists.

In this position, you can anticipate:

• Practicing at Alta View Clinic in Sandy, UT
• Four-days per week in clinic (day off to be determined) and dedicated admin time; standard clinic hours
• This is an outpatient position with no inpatient requirement
• Rotating after-hours call shared with providers in the Salt Lake Valley; 1:12
• Primarily practicing general neurology, with an option to sub-specialize a portion of your practice

This position includes a $50,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance, and $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable. This position is also eligible to receive a training stipend for candidates completing residency or fellowship.

What you’ll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency training in Neurology
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
• Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
