Outbound Operations Manager

Your Role

We are looking for a skilled Outbound Operations Manager to lead, manage and execute US outbound operations as well as our logistic activities for our Pixi and POP brands. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that Outbound as well as Logistics operations are on-time and streamlined. Further, they will play a key role in day-to-day decision making, long-term planning, and strategic transformation. Having a deep understanding of logistics and processing strong communication skills are critical for success within this role.


Key Responsibilities

Outbound operations for assigned customers:

  • Oversee outbound operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
  • Manage supply chain for Outbound deliveries.
  • Arrange and coordinate transportation for domestic and international freight (Outbound).
  • Ensure deadlines are met by managing activities for order fulfillment and the transportation cycle.
  • Manage claims processes with our freight forwarder, warehouses and retailers.
  • Manage cost of warehousing and distribution for assigned scope.

Order management & processes:

  • Own EDI operations related to outbound fulfillment, including order flow, shipment confirmation, invoicing transactions, and issue resolution. Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure EDI compliance with key retail accounts.
  • Maintain and perfect outbound supply chain processes, SOPs, and improvement initiatives (i.e. NetSuite, Outbound transformation).
  • Manage 3PL relationships, performance evaluations, and invoice approvals.
  • All other responsibilities as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Business preferred).
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials or Inventory Management (Beauty Industry preferred).
  • Expertise in Supply Chain Management operational concepts
  • Proficiency in NetSuite (or other ERP) and Microsoft Excel and an aptitude to learn technical applications quickly.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Strong listening, written and oral communication skills.
  • Problem Solving & Decision Quality: Able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions.
  • Planning & Priority Setting: Demonstrates an ability to set objectives and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals.
  • Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of colleagues and business partners.
