We're seeking a dynamic and resourceful innovator to join our Organizational Effectiveness (OD/OE) team. In this role, you'll be a key player in contributing to projects and enabling our organizational culture and effectiveness work. With a strong ability to take initiative and work collaboratively, you understand the need to think critically, ask great questions, and build tools and processes that enable our audacious team goals. 

What You’ll Do (daily responsibilities)
  • Seek to quickly build Affirm and OD/OE context, understanding the right questions to ask and seeking guidance to infill gaps, and through building partnership across the broader People + Org Success and broader People team
  • Partner with the Sr. Manager, OE and Manager, OE to contribute to key initiatives for Affirm - responding to team needs and ensuring we do the right work and the work right
  • Bring to life work aligned with the OE vision/strategy under Sr. Manager guidance, including putting pen to paper and taking ideas to action on the development of needed tools, materials, and assets. Takes ownership and initiative to drive work forward with speed and excellence.
  • Apply OD/OE experience to identify opportunities and make recommendations that increase the effectiveness and impact of the team’s work
  • Takes accountability to deliver products that make a difference for Affirmers - completing work on time and with Affirmers at the center.
What We Look For
  • 5+ years of experience in OD/OE in customer-oriented companies and with a global workforce; remote-first experience preferred (or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience)
  • Experience in designing and developing the tools, resources, and assets needed to support org effectiveness strategies being successful
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to distill complex information to what matters most. Simpler is better.
  • A "how can we make this better?" mentality. You recognize that "perfect" is not an end state, and continually drive for improvement.
  • Experience in HR functions preferred but not required (e.g. Talent Management, OD/OE, DEI, L&D, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Tech/Analytics, etc.)

Pay Grade - I
Equity Grade - 4
Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.)
CAN base pay range per year: $90,000 - $130,000
