About Kiddom

Kiddom is a groundbreaking educational platform that promotes student equity and growth by uniting high-quality instructional materials with dynamic digital learning. Through unparalleled curriculum management functionality, Kiddom empowers schools and districts to take ownership of their curriculum – resulting in learning experiences tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of local communities. Kiddom’s high-quality curriculum is layered with robust teacher and leader data insights to drive the continuous improvement of instructional decisions, school/district programming, and professional learning.

The Order Management Specialist will play a critical role in supporting Kiddom’s print fulfillment process, working directly with school customers to ensure large, complex orders are accurate, complete, and fulfilled on time. You will intake and organize bulk orders across dozens of schools, interface with customer contacts to confirm details, and collaborate with internal teams to prepare and submit orders to print vendors.

You will also be responsible for tracking the status of these orders, updating systems (like NetSuite), and ensuring each order is processed correctly down to the individual school and ISBN level. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing repeatable workflows at scale.

During slower seasons, this role may also support ad-hoc operational projects or assist with print-related customer service to ensure year-round impact and development.

You will...

  • Intake customer orders across multiple schools, consolidating and validating order forms
  • Review orders for accuracy in quantities, ISBNs, addresses, and required delivery details
  • Interface with school contacts to resolve discrepancies or confirm order details
  • Submit orders to internal systems or prepare files for the Supply Chain Manager to process with print vendors
  • Track order fulfillment progress, maintain up-to-date records, and follow up as needed
  • Update each school’s order status in NetSuite once fulfillment and shipping information is received
  • Collaborate with RevOps, Sales, and Accounting to ensure order quality and timely delivery
  • Identify and flag recurring order issues or process improvements
  • Handle multiple customer orders simultaneously with a high level of accuracy and professionalism
  • Support ad-hoc operational projects or assist with print-related customer support during off-peak order seasons

What we're looking for...

  • 1–4 years of experience managing complex customer orders in a detail-oriented, operations-driven environment such as order management, logistics, publishing, or customer operations, etc.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, filters, pivot tables)
  • Clear, professional written communication skills for interacting with schools and internal stakeholders
  • High attention to detail with demonstrated experience managing large amounts of data
  • Comfortable working with ERPs or order management systems (NetSuite experience is a plus)
  • Ability to stay organized while juggling multiple tasks and customers
  • Experience in K–12 education or publishing/logistics is a plus

Salary range is dependent on geographic location, prior experience, seniority, and demonstrated role related ability during the interview process.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
