EPM Solution Architect - Cloud/Hyperion

The EPM Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise performance management solutions that support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliation and financial consolidation. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technology, ensuring that EPM system aligns with organizational goals and delivers actionable insights.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Oracle EPM modules and ensure seamless integration with ERP systems.

  • Lead functional and development teams and actively participate in all phases of system implementation including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, system design and development, testing and roll-out and production support.

  • Define architecture standards, data models, and integration strategies.

  • Utilize disciplined development methodology for continuous evolution and optimization for the applications solution. 

  • Expertise in EPBCS & FCCS. Ability to formulate and document requirements, design specifications, and test plans for extensions to Finance, Financial Planning and Consolidation & Close applications which include, reports, interfaces, conversions, and process enhancements.

  • Experience/exposure to EDMCS, PCMCS and ARCS is a definite plus

  • Experience with Global Monthly/Quarterly Consolidation and US GAAP and IFERS. 

  • Lead workshops and design sessions with cross-functional teams.

  • Develop and streamline IT applications support strategy and manage end user expectations.

  • Responsible for issue, problem and change management functions to ensure application availability, uptime and service levels to business users.

  • Follow industry standards related to software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software quality assurance (SQA) practices and methodologies to ensure quality of project deliverables and technical solutions.

  • Enforce and manage project deadlines and schedules.

  • Commit to quality deliverables while ensuring technical solutions are on-scope, on-time and on-budget.

  • Accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional, and engaging.

  • Follow through with commitments and assume additional responsibilities without being asked.

  • Ensure solutions comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and data privacy regulations.

  • Facilitate communication/relationship within Niagara business and IT.

  • Significant knowledge in EPM cloud  which include Planning & Budgeting , Reconciliation ,Consolidation , with previous exposure to ERP system.

  • Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook.

  • Project Management - coordinates projects; communicates changes and progress; completes projects on time; budget management; manages project team activities. 
  • Oral Communication - speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Min 4 Years - Experience in Hyperion or Oracle Cloud EPM
    • 6 Years  – Experience in Finance applications with exposure to Global Planning, Consolidation & Close. GAAP, IFERS.
    • 4 Years  – Experience in EPBCS & FCCS modules
    • 4 Years  – Experience in EPM solution design and architecture

              *experience may include a combination of work experience and education

  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • 10+ Years–  Experience in Hyperion or Oracle EPM Cloud application
    • 10+ years - Experience with Global Planning, Consolidation & Close. GAAP, IFERS.
    • 6++ Years – Experience in EPBCS & FCCS modules     
    • 6 Years – Experience in EPM Cloud solution design and architecture

Education

  • Minimum Required: 
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Preferred: 
  • Master’s degree in finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Typical Compensation Range

Pay Rate Type: Salary

$117,858.39 - $167,948.22 / Yearly

Bonus Target: 10% Annual
