Tinder is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to help us grow and evolve our workplace operations. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, team oriented, and meticulously organized individual with a strong interest and background in facilities maintenance and workplace operations and planning.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all facilities, maintenance and building operations for our 2 building HQ in LA and 2 satellite offices in Palo Alto and SF. 
• Ensure that the workplace supports the health and safety of all employees and visitors 
• Maintain all HVAC, MEP and Security Systems
• Manage all service programs such shipping and receiving, office supplies, shredding services, interior landscaping, janitorial, pest control, carpet maintenance and more
• Serve as the Emergency Response Lead for the LA office and workOn-call 24/7 for the support and coordination of any emergency repair or situation
• Build an amazing team. Oversee and develop a team of coordinators and building technicians.
• Manage vendor performance. Track and report critical metrics. Ensure vendor support meets KPI metrics and satisfaction of workplace operations. 
• Lead urgent projects, prioritize tasks, and overcome road blocks
• Proactively analyze work order tickets to understand and mitigate any issues
• Partner with Planning and Design on day 2 capital projects
• Oversee facilities audits to ensure each office is properly maintained and meets company standards as well as all safety and sustainability guidelines
• Support all project and workplace planning teams for construction and move projects 

Qualifications:

• Extensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire suppression system knowledge of commercial/critical facilities required.
• 7-10yrs of building management experience, working towards financial targets and goals.
• Extensive experience with “back-of-house” services while understanding the required partnership with “front of house” needs and schedule
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques
• Drive results. Work with the Director of Workplace to regularly forecast and set goals create an environment of experimentation, analytical thinking and precision in execution to hit those goals
• Share information. Communicate across the organization to ensure timely resolutions, quality control, and process feedback. 
• Demonstrated communication and presentation skills, with an ability to express high-level concepts smoothly and effectively to a wide range of audiences.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, think outside the box, and produce innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in working with ambiguous requirements and taking smart risks
• Excellent time management skills
