About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations to oversee and implement the company's operations and procedures as we rapidly grow. You will be the Portal's second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of the business. You will be an early hire and central to Portal's success. This position has the opportunity to grow into a Chief Operating Officer role.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Design and implement operations for Portal's first two facilities in Salt Lake City and Phoenix
• Create and establish a scalable and efficient facility launch process
• Create and manage systems to manage members, vendors, and partners
• Manage facility level operations teams and create key reporting systems
• Track and identify expansion opportunities, customer pain points, and churn risks
• Become a key part of Portal's expansion (fundraising, acquisitions, partnerships)
• Become a keen, passionate expert in all things related to D2C e-commerce and logistics

Our Ideal Fit:

• You have had 5+ years of operational leadership experience at a similar shared-environment company (co-working, co-living, ghost kitchens)
• You can hit the ground running; you know exactly the systems, tools and technology to implement
• You are excited about being a part of a small team building something from the ground up
• You are open to wearing many hats and have management experience
• You have experience and working knowledge of D2C e-commerce and have an innate understanding of the massive problem Portal is solving
• You are open to frequent travel during facility openings, and periodic travel to visit facilities in between
• You are a self-starter and high-achiever, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
