The Ring Supply Chain team is looking for a Program Manager to own and develop programs, policies, and procedures designed to ensure compliance with trade regulations while enabling the development and global launch of new products. This professional will manage cross-functional work streams in the R&D and consumer products space, while having global responsibility for managing import and export regulatory risks. The Trade Compliance Manager will work closely with various business partners such as engineering, legal, transportation, supply chain, tax, accounting, finance and external vendors to ensure compliance at all stages of product development, launch, and continuous operations. The Trade Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing training, building compliance mechanisms, and managing import/export operations.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the ability to quickly identify compliance risks and drive solutions, while earning trust with business partners to ensure a culture of compliance. This person must have strong analytical capabilities and a process improvement mentality. You must be able to interface effectively and communicate convincingly with leaders at all levels. You will demonstrate the ability to work well and influence strategically in both small team and large, cross-functional environments. The right candidate must have a track record of project management and compliance program ownership, driving multiple product launches across a variety of categories; strong planning and prioritization skills are a must.

What You'll Do

• Lead Ring’s Global Trade Compliance Program to develop and execute compliance controls, own global product launches, and ensure compliant operations
• Drive cross functional partnerships with business partners to instill a culture of compliance
• Work with regional managers, subject matter experts, and legal to create a compliance framework that controls for risk
• Manage program import/export operations, broker relationships, and escalations

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7+ years of experience with import/export compliance
• 7+ years of experience with consumer electronic hardware compliance
• 7+ years of experience managing broker relationships and compliance operations
• Proficiency with implementing processes to comply with regulatory requirements
• Import/export classification expertise
• Project management expertise
• Customs valuation expertise
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Customs Broker License
• MBA or JD
• Accomplished range of skills from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
