Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to critical and player acclaim. As the most played PC game in the world, over 100 million play every month. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience.

We’re looking for humble but ambitious, razor-sharp professionals who can teach us a thing or two. We promise to return the favor. Like us, you take play seriously; you’re passionate about games. We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.

That's where you come in.

As Space Planner, you'll be in charge of managing the layouts, changes, and accuracy of data associated with space at our Los Angeles headquarters. You'll rep the Riot Facilities Team in planning discussions with Rioters to support moves both large and small and you'll tank projects to make most efficient use of space. You've got an eye for detail, a passion for organization, and a sixth sense for how to navigate the domino effect of desk moves across an organization.

You are:

  • A master planner: you're a project pathfinder, breaking down massive ventures into obtainable, measurable, non-panic-attack-inducing objectives; when projects seem overly daunting, you steer the process along with calculated planning and efficient scheduling that helps you hurdle barriers and bust through blockers
  • A business-minded space guru: you see the big picture when it comes to space planning, because you know how to get the small details you need to make solid decisions; you figure out ways to use space efficiently to meet today's needs, while also taking into account the needs of the future
  • An idea accelerator: your creative ideas and the creative ideas of your team extend past simply having a Plan B, because you push forward the ideas you know will work IRL; when it comes to space planning, you know what brilliant solutions look like and have no problems pushing others past mental roadblocks with planning sessions that end in unprecedented innovation and drenched furniture
  • Map aware: like a game master setting up your dungeon, you're always thinking ahead to the next encounter; you're comfortable with being challenged by your colleagues to come up with plans that meet current needs and are flexible enough to adapt to sudden changes in game conditions
  • Skilled: you've spent years honing your technical abilities and you've got the track record to prove it; your functional and technical knowledge base continually grows, revealing new ways to level up your craft

You will:

  • Organize space data into formats that decry their humble origins as 1s and 0s, you'll be in charge of capturing the information that pertains to space and formatting in a way that will support leadership with their shotcalling
  • Continually communicate with Rioters regarding projects, because you know that targets move, dates change, and objectives shifts; you're guided by the fact that clarity and communication are the keys to getting shit done
  • Keep our digital space tracking tools updated with Rioter seating locations, plan out where Newbs will sit, and make sure that the Facility Team knows how to account for its deployed assets
  • Lead space changes with finesse; Rioters are constantly on the move, but you've experienced workplace churn before, you know when to call in the big guns, and you see space solutions where others see timey wimey wibbly wobbly stuff
  • Make space data understandable and useful for Riot as a whole; you'll translate and analyze the data that we need to make informed decisions about our current use of space and future real estate plans

Don’t forget to include a resume and cover letter. We receive a lot of applications, but we’ll notice a fun, well-written intro that shows us you take play seriously.
