You Aspire To: 

Lead Heliogen’s overall Supply Chain Planning & fulfillment operations. Manage sales and operating planning cycle in order to understand current/past performance and demand in order to forecast and scheduled future production needs and output. Create functional strategies and specific objectives for demand planning, inventory control and fulfillment of projects/orders and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure

Responsibilities:

• Set the vision and strategy for Demand Planning & Fulfillment to ensure a “Best-in-Class” Supply Chain Management (SCM) Program is executed to support company growth strategies and is adaptable to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
• Define and ensure team delivery against key performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as stock turns, on-time delivery, and inventory levels.
• Set overall direction for SCM collaboration in the Sales, Finance, Operations, and Manufacturing Planning (S&OP) process and drive KPI to ensure material planning matches demand for manufacturing.
• Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as Product Design, Business Development (Sales), Finance, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, & Quality Assurance.
• Lead reduction of overall supply chain risk through team development of supply chain contingencies and proactive resolutions for demand/supply imbalances and disruption.
• Drive solutions to reduce eliminate any gaps in plans preventing meeting order schedule, including assisting in sourcing materials as required.
• Responsible to schedule & host meetings with manufacturing partners as required, reducing eliminating shortages.
• Coordinate forecast for Production Delivery; developing build plan & communicating to all required parties.
• Verify fulfillment and forecast future output/delivery
• Hire, train and develop team, ensuring that each employee has a clear and thorough understanding of their role and responsibilities.

The activities above will include both US and international locations. The Supply Chain vendors will be providing materials to Heliogen locations around the world. The final Heliogen product installation/ manufacturing sites will also be at Heliogen and customer locations around the world. Visits to supplier locations and various Heliogen sites/ locations (including project sites) will be required

What's Essential:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, economics, business administration, statistics, manufacturing, or associated Engineering Discipline
• 5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain, planning and fulfillment leadership role, or enterprise resource planning, Leadership position.
• Experience with Managing the Sales and Operations Planning Cycle, Scheduling production and suppliers and ensuring timely fulfilment to meet company goals
• Startup company experience, with demonstrated creation and development of necessary supply chain systems
• Excellent verbal and written communicator, ability to lead in an environment of in-direct control, analytical, fact based with an attention to detail
• ERP/MRP selection, deployment and integration to business needs

• Global awareness, good business ethics, and an understanding of legal contracts.
• Supply Chain Management experience in support of high-volume manufacturing operations is desired
• Practical knowledge of various manufacturing processes/equipment and associated competitive landscape for supplier selection is desirable
• Certifications from CPSM, CPIM, and/or CSCP
• Experience in a consumer goods manufacturing environment
