The Senior Manager of Custom Products is responsible for creating and maintaining all custom sweetgreen skus within our Supply Chain. The position ensures that all custom sweetgreen skus meet our standards for Quality, Ethos, Cost and Availability.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Science Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Co-Packers, Custom Manufacturing and Commercialization of custom products in Food.
Job Requirements
- Proven leader with experience influencing across an organization, gains satisfaction when sharing knowledge, coaching, developing, motivating.
- Knowledge and understanding of Vendor and Inventory Management.
- Experience Managing P&Ls and understanding of financial metrics and costs throughout the Supply Chain.
- Knowledge of HACCP, SOP’s, and government/industry food safety and quality regulations, codes, and standards.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communicator.
- Team player who demonstrates initiative and integrity while being able to work with little supervision.
- Ability to travel

Responsibilities
- Creation and Management sweetgreen custom skus.
- Management of Commercialization Process.
- Owns Relationships with Co-Packers utilizing our Value Chain and Category Manager teams for input relationships
- Partners with Value Chain or Category Manager for Supplier Level Processing.
- Partners with Value Chain and Logistics on Distributor Level Processing.
- Monitors ingredients, production runs, and inventory across Suppliers, Co-Packers and Distributors to ensure Supply.
- Develops Multiple Strategies to meet current and future needs.
- Accountable for meeting standards on Transparency, Ethos, and Sustainability; Quality; Cost; and Supply Risk and Resiliency.
