This position is based out of Everett, Washington, Long Beach, California, Mesa, Arizona, Chicago, Illinois, Hazelwood, Missouri, Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, and North Charleston, South Carolina.In this role, you will lead the Safety Management System, Safety Promotion mission of leading promotion of a common Boeing safety culture, safety leadership and personal commitment to product and services safety. In this role, the ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills with a passion for helping people learn and grow.Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management, development and deployment of Safety Management System (SMS)/Safety Promotions strategy across the Enterprise
  • Support integration and management of Safety Promotion in the Enterprise Safety Management System organization.
  • Create and execute communication strategies and programs working internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders for large scale complex culture change to fulfill the broad level Positive Safety Culture strategy.
  • Project Management: Achieve desired outcomes on projects, on-time and within budget. Define the project, design and plan the project, and manage the project team. Control and deliver project deliverables, project accounting and appraisal, and optimize the contribution of the people involved.
  • Builds Positive Relationships: Develops and uses collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals. Builds rapport and trust among stakeholders and leverages the organization's dynamics to promote program goals by focusing on a shared vision.
  • Facilitates the establishment of an overall management system architecture by utilizing the Program Management Best Practices.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with project management
  • 5+ years of experience working across functions, business units and collaborating with key stakeholders
  • 3+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS)
  • Experience breaking down complex concepts into easy to understand communications of many types for all levels
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or AGILE Certification
  • Experience working in a dynamic work environment, to include managing multiple priorities
  • Experience working with diverse and geographically dispersed teams

Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
