Position

sweetgreen is looking for a friendly, forward-thinking, and thoughtfully creative Receptionist to support our HQ. The Receptionist will play an integral role in the support of day to day operations for our office and the wider business. The candidate should have a professional and friendly demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills that will ensure their success in this highly visible role.

Note: This position is hourly, slated to start in July (in line with our HQ opening), and must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with flexibility for overtime as needed.

Duties + Responsibilities

  • Greet, check in, and create authentic and caring interactions with visitors and vendors
  • Manage a pristine reception
  • Receive, log, and sort company mail and packages
  • Support Workplace + Admin teams with administrative tasks including but not limited to expense reports, calendar management, and booking travel
  • Provide administrative support for our Field Immersion Program
  • Print, scan, and maintain confidential files and documents
  • Assist in coordinating HQ programming and events, including ordering catering, set up, and breakdown 
  • Coordinate facility needs with Workplace manager (i.e., cleaning, repairs, maintenance)
  • Maintain onsite inventory of swag
  • Support for additional ad-hoc projects as needed by the business
  • Practicing proper security and COVID-19 procedures

Desired Experience + Traits

  • Prior receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience is preferred
  • Highly service-oriented with the ability to work well both as an individual contributor and as part of a team
  • Extremely organized, detail oriented, able to multitask effectively
  • Outstanding communication, listening, and writing skills, with specific attention to details and follow-up
  • Strong computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Punctuality and excellent attendance is required
