Truthfully, this role defies titles. We’re looking for an operations-minded, entrepreneurial doer that brings equal parts strategy and execution. As a pivotal member of our quickly growing team, you’ll be responsible for leading our efforts across a handful of special initiatives that we believe will drive significant growth in our mission to help people and save lives. Ideally, you’re a multi-disciplinarian that loves to solve complex challenges and make a lasting impact. In this role, you’ll be working closely with our executive team to launch new programs, quickly iterate, and help manage growth. High standards and operational excellence are not just preferred, they're an absolute must.

We’ve quickly developed a reputation for coming up with creative, innovative solutions, and we’re looking for someone to become the next ace on our team of aces to help define the future of consumer safety.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as the primary stakeholder and point-of-contact for Carma’s special programs and initiatives.

  • Proactively develop and maintain excellent, collaborative relationships with existing and potential Carma clients and program partners.

  • Track and report key program metrics, insights, challenges, and opportunities to the Carma team.

  • Play a pivotal role in managing the early-stage growth of Carma programs and initiatives.

  • Help identify program optimizations and efficiencies to drive scalability.

  • Participate in community outreach events and identify potential partnerships.

  • Operate as a field manager and help drive recall awareness in pre-determined local communities.

  • Play a pivotal role in distributing critical information to affected vehicle owners.

  • Act as the “keyholder” of our tech to make sure everything is updated and maintained as needed.

  • Help develop operational guidelines for new hires.

  • Manage relationships with agencies and other vendors.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as they come up.

What You Bring to the Table

  • A BA/BS from a 4-year university.

  • 4-5+ years of experience in a strategic operations, program manager, or field management role.

  • A strong desire to work at a mission-driven company.

  • Exceptional communication and social skills. Comfortable interacting regularly with stakeholders and constituents. Your worst enemy fondly refers to you as a “people-person”.

  • A knack for on-the-spot critical-thinking, and creative problem-solving.

  • Comfortable with proactively handling new challenges and opportunities.

  • You’re incredibly detail oriented and take pride in noticing/catching things that a lot of other people have missed.

  • You’re naturally inquisitive and enjoy activities that require both a creative and strategic approach.

  • A clean driving record, and can pass a background/drug test.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, if needed.

What We Bring to the Table

  • An incredibly supportive culture committed to innovation, collaboration, and creativity.

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.

  • A generous, company-contributed Pension Plan. We also offer an optional 401k for those that want to participate.

  • A high-growth environment with plenty of opportunities to take on new projects and accelerate your own professional growth. We’re building this thing together.

  • An open and transparent work culture built on mutual trust and respect.

  • Optional time together for fun outside of the office.

  • Time off: Three weeks of vacation, holidays, and we even take the week between Christmas and New Years off.

  • A well-stocked kitchen full of snacks, fruits, drinks, cold brew, Brytelife, and more. Don’t have your favorite snack? Just ask for it.

Things We Look For When Hiring

  • Acting in service to people is a core value of yours, and drives many of the decisions you make on a daily basis.

  • You believe that open and honest communication is important in building the right kind of culture.

  • You’re aggressively committed to growing as a person and as a professional, even by just 1% at a time.

  • You’re biased towards action and know the difference between having too much information and just the right amount to make a decision.

  • You believe in the importance of teams, and assess success/failure by how your team performs.

  • You accept and celebrate success and failure with the same level of vigor and pass no judgment on the outcome, but rather focus on the process of growth and improvement.

  • You act as a steward of the business and take ownership of the work that you do, and the team that you’re on.
