You will lead a high performing team or teams responsible for ensuring our Chargers and Mechanics are on-boarded, supported, and successful. You’ll work with star engineers and product designers in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, hybrid technology/operations environment to solve the hardest problems impacting the business.

The role demands great technical depth, principled thinking, a stubborn refusal to settle, bold innovation, and a mentality of starting with the user and working backwards. The ideal candidate has built and/or led teams, is highly operational, highly entrepreneurial, and is obsessed with empowering our mechanics and chargers. They are motivated by building the future, can dig deep into the data to solve operational issues, are always driving small improvements in process, hustles, inspires, and loves making something from nothing.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team or teams of Operations Specialists responsible for on-boarding our chargers and mechanics
• Drive efficiency of current processes while creating new processes as we scale
• Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes and products
• Design and implement light-tests to gather feedback, prove/disprove hypotheses
• Constantly monitor key data and reports to ensure your teams are supporting birds in existing markets and prepared to support launch teams in new markets
• Direct the efforts of Team Leads to train, coach, and guide individual contributors to drive quality and efficiency metrics
• Be a strong project and stakeholder manager with the ability to both plan and execute projects of varying urgency and scope with minimal guidance
• Support a culture of continuous improvement to continually raise the bar of execution
• Manage any issues and solve problems that come up in the normal operation of mechanic and charger operations

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of work experience with at least 2-3 years of people management
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a complex operational environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop people
• Exceptional problem solver who has owned projects from start to finish
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Be nimble and adaptable

Nice to Haves

• Operations experience in logistics or tech-transportation
• Experience with gig economy based workforce
