We are seeking a nurse practitioner who is passionate about patient care and wants to elevate how healthcare is delivered through nutritionally focused practices and innovative software solutions. The ideal physician is willing to work in a collaborative setting and is open to advancing their health care methodologies through ongoing integrative medicine education. This individual follows established, acceptable, clinical guidelines, and remains current in scientific medical advancements and state of the art medical practices.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:

  • Full-time nurse practitioner servicing PLMC patients Monday through Friday (no weekends!).
  • Assesses patient health by interviewing patients and performing physical examination (including obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories in Electric Medical Records.
  • Assess patients' conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic test, such as X-rays and laboratory studies and by interpreting test results.
  • Recommend/Prescribe options and courses of action for patient care.
  • Implement physician directives.
  • Document patient care services by charting in patients' records.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations, discussing further treatment plans and possible referrals.
  • Instructs and counsels patients by providing basic counseling on stress or an emotional issue due to stress or anxiety.
  • Promote wellness and health maintenance.
  • Provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient-management plans.
  • Maintain a good standard of care for patients and comply with policies and procedures set in the clinic.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols and CDC guidelines.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local medical legal and professional requirements.
  • Continued education per the state and annual guideline set for their licensure.
  • Help to develop the health care team by providing new information and educational opportunities.

What you'll need:

  • 2-3 Years of working experience with 1 year in Integrative/Functional Medicine
  • IFM Certified Practitioner preferred
  • Current Licensure to practice in appropriate State (Washington)

Physical requirements/working conditions:

  • Sits at a computer station, meeting table or work desk for more than two-thirds of each day
  • Stands and walks to other stations and departments throughout the day
  • Uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment most of the day
  • May stoop or crouch to access files or storage
  • Requires clear vision at 20 inches or less with or without corrective lenses
  • Hearing and speech within normal ranges and sufficient for clear communication face to face and especially via the telephone
  • Lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; lifts 25 pounds occasionally
  • Exposed to noise levels typical of office environments


Compensation:
The current based salary range for this role in Aliso Viejo, CA is $110,000 - $127,000 (based on experience).
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
