Manager, Tour & Events - LA

How we LEAD:
We are seeking a Tour Events Manager for our Republic Records office located in LA. In this role, you will liaise with other departments within the label, as well as artist's teams, talent agencies, concert venues, and production companies. You will develop and maintain key relationships with others in the industry, including box office personnel, junior staff with agencies and promoters, artist managers, tour managers, and label staff.
How you'll CREATE:
- Support ticketing and guest list process for western region shows and special events through the creation of budgets, putting tickets on hold with box offices, building out solicit emails, as well as distributing tickets and appropriate VIP/AAA passes in a timely manner.
- Opening purchase orders, tracking promotional budgets,
- Processing invoices, maintaining internal contact databases,
- Answering phones, scheduling
- Complete expense reports.
- Update the internal tour data system with all domestic tour dates and distribute appropriate show updates
- Marketing information to all relevant internal and external teams.
- Facilitate and distribute artist promo and touring schedules plus artist travel itineraries
- Assist in the production and execution of label artist showcases, listening sessions & events as required
- Research new lifestyle marketing ideas, showcase/event spaces, travel vendors, etc.
Bring your VIBE:
- 4+ years of work experience in the music industry, either record label or talent agency
- Interested in live music and knowledge of touring
- You have a strong ability to multitask, thrive under pressure, and juggle priorities and deadlines. From booking travel to finding a lost drumkit to getting the right venue for the afterparty, no challenge is too big!
- Be available to attend local shows, events, and concerts regularly (this is an essential part of the job!)
- A proactive, organized, self-starter who has strong problem solving, social, and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work independently but be a team player and flexible
- BA or BS degree (or equivalent)
- Proficient in MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
