IT Support Specialist

We are searching for an experienced IT Support Specialist for our Santa Monica HQ and Gardena warehouse locations. You are someone who has significant experience with supporting a fast-paced, high-growth environment and comfortable working as part of a distributed team supporting IT operations.
You are someone who asks questions, is confident in not knowing everything, and would rather collaborate with others than go it alone. You are crisp and detail oriented, but able to work outside of the boundaries when necessary. What you’ll do
- Support both office (Santa Monica) and warehouse (Gardena) environments.
- Triage and tackle requests in our service desk queue for issues ranging from service outages at our warehouses, to printer problems and WiFi connectivity to email and account password resets.
- Install and configure computer hardware for users and warehouse staff (Mac and PC desktops, notebooks, tablets and mobile devices running Android, iOS and Windows.)Monitor computer processes, maintain routines, test technologies, create, write and maintain our knowledge base with common issue resolutions.
- Oversee new hire on-boarding with account provisioning, IT equipment configuration, setup, and access controls management.
Who you are
- 2+ years of IT support or help desk experience
- Maintain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of network and Windows server administration, installations, upgrades, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment
- Knowledge of ITIL or other prioritization and communication strategies
- Experience with Atlassian Jira Service Desk or similar service queue tools
- Experience with cloud-managed infrastructure solutions like Cisco Meraki and AWS
- Experience setting up and managing video conferencing systems like Google Meet Hardware and Zoom
- Experience with SSO (OneLogin or Okta) and GSuite administration
- Experience with deploying and managing Mac and PC device management systems like Jamf Pro, Fleetsmith, Cisco Meraki Systems Manager and Microsoft Intune/SCCM.
- Experience with IT asset management systems a plus
- Demonstrate proficiency in developing and building business relationships and to communicate effectively with the vendor and user community
- Amazing ability to communicate effectively and be a cheerful resource to the entire company
