IT Help Desk We need a help desk hero! We’re looking for a savvy IT Help Desk guru to provide support to our Irvine office. If you have a proactive can-do attitude, demonstrate an interest in learning more about IT and have strong organizational skills, apply here! This role will provide exposure to cloud technology and a wide variety of different operating systems. You will be working with development, creative and administrative team members and have the growth potential to be in a Sys Admin/DevOps role. What You Will Do Act as an IT Help Desk resource for the company Serve as the first point of contact for team members seeking technical assistance Answer queries on basic technical issues and offer the best solution to resolve them Assist in maintaining all user equipment, workstations, printers, copiers, etc. Troubleshoot user problems and assist in day-to-day software and hardware malfunctions Assist the Systems and Network Administrator’s as necessary Be involved in inventory projects and the development of organizational projects within the office Resolve IT issues within our ticketing system (Jira, ZenDesk, FreshService and Teamwork experience are all a plus! What we are Looking for Previous desktop support in Windows and Mac Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college, or in process of attaining The ability to juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time and troubleshoot problems while remaining calm and professional Experience with Microsoft Office, Jira/Confluence, Adobe Products Experience with printer networking Strong organizational skills Experience in managing expectations with other people Strong communication skills Familiarity with administering and maintaining business related hardware and software Willingness to learn A+ Certifications a plus, MSCE a plus Bonus! - Windows Server, AWS experience What You Need to Succeed An excellent Help desk technician must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution Must be customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult situations and problems that arise last minute Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to interact effectively across multiple teams Ability to take direction and find a resolution even when you may not know the answer right away
