At Convoso, we’re constantly, vigilantly looking for ways to reshape the future of lead generation contact centers. Our mission is to revolutionize the call center industry by empowering agents to convert leads faster.  That’s where you come in. We’re seeking an IT Administrator whose primary role is to oversee and maintain all aspects of Convoso’s computer infrastructure. This includes maintaining networks, servers and security programs and systems.

The IT Administrator will manage the upgrade and installation of new hardware and software, perform troubleshooting to address any problems with computer systems, and assess viruses and potential threats to a company’s network. The IT Administrator will also monitor the use of email, create and change passwords, make suggestions for improvements to computer systems, backup data and perform data recovery as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Maintains the integrity of the network/systems security and optimization of the network (LAN and WAN).
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup.
  • Responds to the needs and questions of network users; troubleshoots, diagnoses, and fixes hardware and/or software problems.
  • Establishes and maintains network users, user environment, directories, and security.
  • Develops and communicates standards for use, operations, and security of network, personal computers, and data; trains users on software and equipment usage.
  • Interfaces with other departments and vendors to report and resolve software, hardware, and operations problems; develops system solutions consistent with organizational objectives.
  • Researches and evaluates new technologies and negotiates contracts with and activities of hardware, software, telecommunications, support, and training vendors; installs, maintains, and upgrades computer workstations and software.
  • Develops and implements disaster recovery procedures; prepares and maintains documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts; monitors and maintains network stability.
  • Provides Intranet and Internet services that allow employees to connect to data and applications.
  • Installs and configures desktop and laptop systems.
  • Provides project management, design implementation, documentation, and operations support for network and IT infrastructure.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees as directed by HR.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Network design and troubleshooting; routing, bridging, and gateways; Internet web site applications and servers; LAN support; hardware/software.
  • MDM configuration and administration
  • Proficient in: GSuite, MySQL, VOIP, Jira, ZenDesk, Salesforce
  • Experience troubleshooting MacBooks, iPhones and Android devices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.
  • Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices in the applicable area of engineering/technical specialization.
