The role
We are seeking a Business Development Associate to play a key role in new market expansion and network growth. You will work closely with senior members of the Network Growth Organization and contribute significantly to executing Metropolis’s go-to-market strategy across product verticals, market geographies, and customer segments; specifically, you will identify target partners and assets in current and new US markets, conduct research to determine market size and opportunity, organize and manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals alongside Network Growth Managers, and contribute to the continual development of the team’s growth playbook.

- Strong business acumen with an understanding of strategic business development
- An appreciation for process and a high level of organization and attention to detail
- Familiarity with or experience in the commercial real estate industry and/or mobility space, particularly integrating innovative hardware or software solutions into real estate assets
- Bonus points for experience in multi-year pro forma modeling and asset underwriting
- 3+ years experience in banking, consulting, real estate, or high-growth tech companies
What you will do:
- Contribute to building the Metropolis network by sourcing prospective commercial real estate partners and valuable parking assets to increase supply liquidity and expand location coverage in new and existing Metropolis markets
- Build qualified target lists, own elements of the deal cycle, and second chair negotiations
- Organizing diligence and keep complex, multi-stakeholder conversations organized and on track to close within defined timelines
- Perform field work and site visits for prospective locations
- Assist in product demonstrations for prospective customers and partners
- Be accountable for key business development metrics
