Description:

The Group Manager of Technical Operations position is responsible for creating the digital business vision for the enterprise by integrating digital into all aspects of the business including channels, processes, data, operating model, incentives, and culture as part of a strategic planning process to drive organization-wide transformation. This position provides detailed analysis of market trends and developments in technology and customer behavior, exploits data for a competitive edge by developing new solutions to compete in new ways that increase revenue, cut cost, improve efficiency, or enable agility and speed to market using digital methods. This position also builds networks of people, technologies, and ideas, both within and outside of company, constantly scanning the business landscape to identify possible acquisitions or partners that can provide complementary capabilities. This position may report directly into the CEO or may report to the CIO. The position is a great collaborator and a fast self-learner with great problem solving and troubleshooting skills, possesses the ability to communicate and collaborate on requirements, and takes complex problems and redefines them, re-scopes them, and transforms them into simple solutions.

  • Understand the digital business vision for the enterprise, high-level priorities, and business goals from the CIO. Responsible for integrating digital into all aspects of the business including channels, processes, data, operating model, incentives, and culture as part of a strategic planning process to drive organization-wide transformation.
  • Provides detailed analysis of market trends and developments in technology and customer behavior, exploits data for a competitive edge by developing new solutions to compete in new ways that increase revenue, cut cost, improve efficiency, or enable agility and speed to market using digital methods.
  • Builds networks of people, technologies, and ideas, both within and outside of company, constantly scanning the business landscape to identify possible acquisitions or partners that can provide complementary capabilities.
  • Cultivate relationships with external vendors and partners, development team members in the development of technology products. Produce and deliver executive presentations.
  • Maintain a high level of skill and current knowledge of technology and apply knowledge in creation of flow and rules that help guide the advancement of technology within the Enterprise. The Chief Digital Officer is responsible for building the direction, creating the strategy, and executing on the organization’s digital marketing efforts.
  • All other duties as assigned.
