About the role

We’re reimagining the way customers use, spend, and store money, with a new product called Cash –a beautiful new banking experience that fits seamlessly into Albert’s existing Savings, Investing, and Instant products. As the General Manager, you’ll lead Cash in all aspects: strategy, staffing, product direction, and scaling to millions of customers. You’ll be the connector between all of Albert’s departments, working with the engineering, design, legal, and product teams, and you’ll report directly to the executive team. You’ll be responsible for the product’s P&L, and your success will be measured by adoption and usage of the product.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for the Cash product’s P&L
• Lead business development efforts to manage external partnerships
• Continuously develop initiatives to improve the product
• Build a team to launch banking
• Work directly with the executive team to ensure that the needs of the entire business are constantly being evaluated.
• Develop the infrastructure to operationally manage and scale, including team structures, technology, and sustainable processes and procedures
• Document user needs and input into product development
• Manage the operations of the product

Requirements

• 5+ year proven track record working in a startup with leadership experience
• Deep experience in mobile banking
• 4-year BA or BS degree
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Bonus: skills with business intelligence tools
