The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that Birds remain in flight. The Fleet Coordinator works with chargers, power chargers and mechanics to ensure that new Birds are released into the wild, to remove/repair Birds quickly to be returned back into the field, and to handle all extra supplies to help Birds are always charged and ready for flight. At the end of the day, the Fleet Coordinator is there to ensure that as many Birds as possible are ready to ride every single day.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with a mechanical background (or willingness to learn) that is hyper-organized with strong communication skills. They will have to be adaptive and willing to perform one-off tasks as needed, as well as motivated by helping others succeed. This will be a remote job that reports to Bird HQ in Venice, California.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage market drop-offs/pick-ups of new Birds
  • Work with our in-market mechanic teams that collect, repair, and redistribute Bird scooters throughout the day
  • Confirm which Birds need to be returned back to HQ for repairs
  • Coordinating shipments and distribution of mechanic supplies in market
  • Retrieve broken/damaged Birds and perform repairs when possible
  • Work with the city to obtain impounded Birds
  • Recover Bird tools/parts form churned mechanics/chargers
  • Manage Bird’s market inventory

What You'll Need:

  • Mechanical experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Self-starter
  • Strong Computer
  • Detail oriented
