Facilities Manager
FloQast, Inc. seeks a Facilities Manager to help keep our Los Angeles based headquarters running smoothly as we continue to grow as an organization and expand our campus. We are looking for a proactive and culture-oriented candidate to contribute to the overall functionality and efficiency of our office operations, create and maintain a pleasant work environment, and ensure high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety throughout the office. This is a position with great growth potential as the company continues to grow and expand.
Responsibilities Include:
First point of contact for facility maintenance vendors and service providers (including, but not limited to communications with the Landlord, the HVAC vendor, plumber, utility companies, Security Company, Cleaning crew, etc.);
Manage and direct office equipment and furniture orders for new office expansion;
Collaborate with Legal Department to assist with any changes and negotiations for current and/or future leases;
Ongoing ownership and maintenance of general office layout and organization;
Order and maintain inventory of office equipment and furniture for employee growth
Own office seating organization and planning
Coordinate basic building repairs, furniture building/moving, miscellaneous jobs and handyman work as needed
Maintain documentation of facility equipment;
Ensure regular maintenance inspections are occurring and well documented
Documentation on how to use facility equipment is well documented and kept up to date
Assist with planning and management of all onsite Company social and Marketing events;
Track and maintain expenditure and budget
Assist and collaborate with IT department to ensure;
Smooth functioning of various electronic equipment in the office
Physical Offboarding of Employees and preparing vacated space for future use
Communicate effectively, efficiently, and professionally with service requests of employees and Executives as needed;
Assume and assist with Office Coordinator duties in the event the Office Coordinator is unavailable;
Other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualities and Skills:
4+ years experience in a facilities related role
Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines preferred
Ability and willingness to engage in some manual labor
Knowledge of facilities administration responsibilities, systems and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office and G Suite
Highly energetic, positive and enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skills and collaborative orientation
Detail oriented with strong problem-solving and decision making skills
Self-starter with a high level of initiative and follow-through
Strong sense of ownership and urgency, organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work
Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and consultative skills
Strong work ethic and integrity
Ability to work well under tight deadlines and respond to rapidly changing demands and fulfill efficient follow ups
