This is your chance to join our growing Facilities and Real Estate team. Contribute to our mission through Facilities where you will be a critical player ensuring that our infrastructure is in optimal working conditions that allow us all to thrive in our day-to-day. No task is too small and no project is too large to tackle. Days will rarely look the same as you work through unique challenges that will ultimately make our colleagues as productive as possible. Reporting into the Head of Facilities, you will partner with Environmental Health and Safety, Logistics, Warehousing, test sites, and Security.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment
- Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly
- Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems
- Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility
- Maintains and distributes inventory of office supplies; reorders as needed
- Maintains and distributes inventory of our growing swag; reorders as needed
- Relocation of desks and workshop areas
- Handyman services like patching, painting, etc.
- Builds furniture
- Responds to urgent maintenance issues in the building
- Documenting processes and keeping maintenance records
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
- At least one year of experience in office management or equivalent role
- Ability to own a variety of tasks in an autonomous environment.
- Quick learner, willing to dive into new topics, both technical and non-technical.
- Strong customer service mentality.
- Understanding of safety regulations in offices or warehouse environments.
- Well organized
- Sound judgment and ability to think quickly during emergencies
- Valid driver’s license.
- Able to lift 40 lbs
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in project management, or similar
