SUMMARY
WELL is looking for an Executive Assistant to support our CEO. You will interact across all departments and levels, as well as with external prospects, investors, board members, and clients. You will mainly support the calendaring and scheduling needs of the CEO, while also working on special projects assigned by the CEO and other department leads.
This role is a junior position. This role is perfect for you if you want to build a career at a startup while developing strong administrative skills. You are seeking a position in which you can learn and grow. You are motivated by helping others, have an incredible work ethic, and have a knack for dealing with details and logistics. Moreover, you are proactive, resourceful, and thrive in fast-paced, ever changing environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage an active calendar of meetings for the CEO, ensuring the schedule is aligned with their priorities and is designed to support their needs
- Track and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner
- Complete ad-hoc projects and special assignments, working across multiple departments
- Support other members of the executive team as needed
- Handle logistical conflicts swiftly and proactively
- Complete expense reports
REQUIREMENTS
- Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-2 years of work experience in an administrative, operations/logistics, or customer-facing role (internship experience OK)
- Extremely detail-oriented and meticulous
- Exceptionally organized and process-oriented, with the ability to methodically prioritize and execute tasks
- Superb written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external contacts with a high degree of professionalism
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations with little direction
- Strong desire to learn and grow
BONUS
- Adept at using G-Suite, specifically Google Calendar
- Startup experience
LOCATION
WELL is headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA. Today, all WELL positions are remote, and we are looking forward to when our company returns to in-office work. The majority of our company works out of our headquarters full-time. WELL believes that there is value in a team working in the same environment. We are looking for candidates that are open to relocating to Santa Barbara once WELL resumes in-office work.
