OpenX seeks an Events Director who will work closely with the executive team to executethe company’s events strategy. The ideal candidate will possess versatility and experience
that allows the team to manage a portfolio of proprietary events, industry activations and
sponsorships to position OpenX as a leader in the digital advertising industry.

Key Responsibilities

● Work closely with OpenX leadership teams to determine strategic priorities at eachconference/event
● Approach each conference/event with a fresh perspective, identifying opportunities
for more bespoke/inviting/engaging ideas
● Evaluate sponsorship opportunities for the OpenX brand
● Collaborate with internal creative team regarding OpenX brand representation
● Work with OpenX Corporate Communications to support marketplace messaging
● Manage external vendor partners
● Manage internal relationships with Business Development teams, Accounts
Payable, Legal, etc.
● Establish and manage individual conference/event budgets and participate in
overall annual budget planning with OpenX Finance team

Required Qualifications

● 10+ years of professional experience in event management and logistics● Strong project management skills with the ability to define and run projects
with little guidance from upper management
● Experience working closely with executive team
● Strong analytical and business problem solving skills

Desired Characteristics

● Experience with ad technology industry events, both domestic and international● Impeccable written & oral communication skills, excellence in preparing and
delivering executive presentations
● Proven track record of working with people from different functions such as Sales,
Marketing and Engineering
● Positive, can-do attitude
● CMP, CMM Certification preferred
● Experience with programming content
