As the Event Manager on the Esports team, you will be the jack of all trades when it comes to event and pro-player logistics. You will own everything from curating the staffing list, sourcing and negotiating hotels and travel, to the catering needs of both groups on-site. Your flexibility and strong dedication to fan and player happiness will amplify your ability to ensure excellent events.

Over the past 8 years, League of Legends has grown to be the world’s most popular esport totaling 1.2 billion hours viewed during our 2017 World Championship alone. At the core is the Esports Central team. We are a collection of individuals responsible for operating three major global events, defining global policy, driving global narratives, and providing services to our 15 different regional offices and leagues. Our vision is to build a global, multi-generational premier sport that elevates League of Legends. Sound interesting to you?

Responsibilities:

  • You will organize all of our travel data into a clear and concise travel grid
  • You'll book and handle hotel blocks including attrition
  • You will oversee airfare bookings to make sure they stay within Riot Esports policies
  • You will work with external vendors to meet our catering needs both in venue and at our hotels
  • You'll work the Mid Season Invitational, World Championship, and our All-Star events
  • You'll handle emergent work as well as additional projects

Desired Qualifications:

  • Live event experience is a requirement, including working within a broadcast environment
  • You have large scale event experience working with crowds of 6k - 60k attendees
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • You are passionate for players and events
