Job objective: This is an exciting role in a growing company. In this role you will have the opportunity to lead the development of Epirus EHS program. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership ability, change management focused on ensuring people and product safety.

Duties 

• Lead the company's Environmental, Health and Safety programs
• Understand and ensure compliance with federal and state applicable workplace safety regulations
• Effectively teach others to assess risk, identify hazards, and implement appropriate controls
• Identify and minimize Environmental, Health, and Safety risks and communicate critical tasks, as required, to essential business units
• Inspect workplaces to evaluate operational effectiveness and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Perform Job Hazard assessments and partner with engineering and manufacturing teams on job specific training and selection of PPE
• Develop safety goals, metrics, actions
• Conduct leadership and employee engagements including safety training
• Primary POC with Facilities lead, municipalities or landlord for any environmental compliance or requirements

Required Qualifications

• Degree or certification in related field
• 10+ years working in Product Development Lab and Manufacturing facility
• 3+ years in technical EHS role
• Working Knowledge of OSHA, PPE, VPP
• Excellent organization, data analysis, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to respond quickly to incidents and reporting efforts
• Project management methods and Risk Management tools
• US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident (future security clearance may be required)

Desired Qualifications

• CSP and REM certification
• Experience in Electronics, RF manufacturing, system integration, test. and sell off to government and commercial customers
• Six Sigma, Lean and Change Management Expertise
• Exposure to Agile product development
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
