The Reverse Logistics Director is responsible for the global process of moving goods from their typical final destination for the purpose of capturing value, proper disposal, remanufacturing or refurbishing activities. The Reverse Logistics Director will be the global head of reverse logistics, liaise with multiple teams, manage a small local team (USA), and will be reporting to the VP of Global Supply Chain.

What You'll Do

  • Develop global reverse logistics program
  • Manage 3PL (or similar) relationships
  • Facilitate the flow of product and data
  • Manage a team to oversee returns and liaison with QC and Product Development
  • Ensure product is tracked through the reverse supply chain
  • Act as liaison between Ring and 3PL’s to supervise WIP, work order requirements, issue/project status and coordinate and collaborate with management on resolution of issues
  • Assure daily, weekly and monthly reports and metrics are communicated from global 3PL’s to Ring. Develop standard formats on all global reports
  • Partner with finance to ensure the 3PL is executing in accordance with established cycle-counts procedures, inventory adjustments processes, and Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Work with all stakeholders to develop b-stock / refurb / off-price sales channel
  • Ensure consistent and efficient service and performance is achieved, and quality and cost expectations are tracked

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years of experience in Logistics, ideally Reverse Logistics
  • 7+ years of experience with consumer electronics
  • Proficiency with implementing processes improvement
  • Project management expertise
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)
  • Apics certification (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD)
  • Range of skills from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
